Divorce/Separation

Apparently the divorce rate is at its lowest for 26 years!

At least according to this article in the Guardian...see here.

While the rate may be at its lowest, and unless you live in Iceland, we understand the stress and trauma that divorce or separation can bring to all concerned.

We have met a lot of couples caught in this situation and several feel that the property they share can often make them feel trapped with no way out. All such situations have to be approached with sympathy for both partners.

Our strong preference is to meet both partners and explain what we might be able to do to help. That may not always be possible, but can be of huge benefit in creating trust around a sensitive topic of what to do with the property that has been your shared home.

We will work to timescales that suit you and put our proposals in writing to both partners.
